No space for Baloch Nation then! No room for State Media in Balochistan: Banok Karima Baloch

Occupied Balochistan: The Central Vice chairman of Baloch Student Organization (Azaad) Banok Karima Baloch recently gave a statement in which she said that those TV Channels and Newspaper where there is no space for Baloch nation than it should be noted that there will be no space for these TV channels and Newspapers in Balochistan either.

She stated that in such condition when Pakistan forces are busy showing brutal and animalistic approach to counter Baloch nation, where everyday corpses of missing Baloch are found these Media outlets have opted silence over these anti human actions and most importantly destroying the houses and property of civilian Baloch population in the town of Mashkay by indiscriminate bombardment and with all these happenings still they don’t intend to open their eyes then there is nothing left for the State media in Balochistan.

She further appealed to Baloch youth to take whatever stand they could against Baloch enemy media, she continued that BSO(Azaad) appeals to all Transporters, cable operators and book stall owners to support this stand of BSO (Azaad) and especially to Transporters to stop distributing these newspaper otherwise they will bear the losses on their own.

She also addressed the Baloch Journalist that they should also take this suggestion and should not be part of Baloch Enemy media and should support this call of BSO (Azaad).

More than two dozen Baloch martyred, operation launched in Baloch dominated areas of Karachi

KARACHI: The Mashkay military operation being condemned by the Baloch National Front Karachi from the first day, BNF organized protest rallies against the Pakistani state atrocities in Balochistan,they have tried to highlight the genocide of Baloch nation to the world in a peaceful way. But Pakistani state used the MQM card to pressurize the Baloch freedom supporter masses of Karachi.

MQM started aerial firing on Baloch areas of Malir, Lyari, Golimar, Baloch Para, Garden to divert the attention of Mashkay operation in Karachi. In many areas MQM workers organized rallies, blocked the roads, holding play cards “BLA” members are present in Baloch area’s and Army should start operation against them.

In last 72 hours morethan two dozens Baloch martyred and many injured by the Pakistani state terrorist wing MQM in different parts of Karachi.

Yesterday night Police and Rangers jointly started an Operation in several Baloch villages in Malir, where women, children, elderly were dragged out in the open field in the late winter nights and their houses were searched because MQM accused them of being spies and members of BLA but which is not true.

This is proving that Baloch nation is being harassed no matter where they live. Lets condemn Pakistani forces for dragging out our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, childrens from comfort of their homes in the open field, worst human rights violation but still these human rights organization are silent spectators.

Target killings of Balochs in Karachi

Karachi: Rift brtween MQN and Amn Committee caused bloodshed Baloch areas of Karachi like Malir,Garden,Old Golimar Usman abad and specialy Lyari are under attacks of target killing, where innocent Baloch people are being targeted by the MQM terrorists which caused approximately 22 Baloch deaths Since last 3 days.

It is a result of rift between Peoples Amn Committee which is enjoying a PPP shelter and the MQM causing the killings of innocent Baloch and other communities, both the groups have their differences on controlling areas for their unfair means and unlawful activities.


Since past 2 years Karachi city is facing this inhuman target killing incidents which have taken hundreds of lives and losses to the business community but the government and law enforcement agencies are just playing the role of a shame spectators and totally unwilling to control this bloody situation and finish it to give the commoners a sigh of relief, the third and main party which is involved in this bloody rift is ANP who has the support of pashtoons is the main rival of MQM apart from Amn Committee.

Talking to our correspondent the Baloch people of Karachi showed their anger on PPP government’s anti baloch policies and blamed them for the killings of innocent lives of balochs mostly the laborers and working class, they said that PPP has always used dead bodies of Baloch people for its political scoring and its doing the same again by using baloch as fuel to counter the enimity with MQM, they have condemned PPP’s double standards by sitting in a coalition government with MQM but for countering them they are making hellish life for poor Baloch people.

MQM and PPP killing innocent Baloch in Karachi in the name of fight against criminals

KARACHI: Since the Baloch people under the banner of BNF have been strongly protesting against Pakistan Military operations in Mashky, Dera Bugti and elsewhere in Balochistan in a peaceful and democratic manner. Pakistan state functionaries are using MQM and PPP card to pressurise innocent Baloch of Karachi. The state is using MQM card to crackdown against supporter of Baloch freedom struggle in different areas in Karachi. MQM and PPP both allies are trying to kill as many innocent Baloch as they can in the name of fight against street crimes. It is no secret to anyone in Karachi that PPP and MQM are crime partners and they are behind all the criminals, drug and land mafia gangs.

Without any respect of the sanctity of Baloch houses and traditions, they dragged Baloch children, women and elderly out of their houses in the name of so called “searched operation” because MQM accused them of having links with Baloch freedom fighters and working for BLA which in fact is not true the only fault of these Baloch people is that they have been protesting against Pakistan military atrocities in Balochistan.

The Pakistan state atrocities against the Baloch of Karachi prove that Baloch nation is being harassed no matter where they live and Pakistani parties do not care for them be them the PPP, PML (N, Q or xyz). They have no sympathy and regard for the Baloch people. Baloch in Karachi instead of running after PP and other Pakistani parties must unite among them and support the Baloch freedom struggle and the people of Balochistan, the Baloch freedom loving parties, must not ignore the Baloch of Karachi they should stand by them against terrorist and criminal organisations like MQM and hypocrites like the PPP.

Boloch people are facing worst form of human right violations and the state of Pakistan is using its full military might against Baloch people no matter where they live. Yet the so called human right organisations nationally and internationally have sewed their lips against Pakistan’s atrocities against the Baloch people.

Turkish Relief aid arrived in Baluchistan, but no sign of Pakistani help for Baluch

News report confirmed arrival of 25 truck load of relief goods for the East Baluchistani victims of flooding. A deliberated diversion of the Indus River flow by Pakistan agriculture land lords to save their lands had caused server flooding in eastern parts of Baluchistan in August 2010.


The flooding submerged many populated towns of in area and killed numerous people and livestock. Thousands of Baluch were displaced who were living without food and shelters’ ever since.


The arrival of Turkish aid brings a momentary sigh of relief for some, but Baluchistani political activists and social groups are continuously complaining about lack of Pakistani government attention towards the victims of flood.


Even with the arrival of foreign aid, many local are sceptic if it reaches those in dire need. The handing over of the goods to Pakistani army instead of local authorities, give Pakistanis every opportunity to divert valuable part of it to their family and friends in Punjab.

Mengal Party thinker killed

A senior member of Mengal Party’s central committee in the East Baluchistan was target killed outside his home in Kalat city on Wednesday 13 October 10.


Nuroddin Mengal set on foot from his house and was attacked by armed men on motorcycles. He was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.


Nuroddin Mengal thought to be a strategist behind the policies of Mengal party. He came from a family of literate people and some of his close relatives held high ranking posts in the East Baluchistani and Pakistani establishments.


The death of Nuroddin Mengal creates a vacuum equalling to that created in the NP following the murder of Maola Bakhsh Dashti. Mengal Party's secretary general Habib Jabib was assassinated ealier this year.


No one has yet claimed responsibility for this target attack; however, blames are going to the establishment created Islamist armed groups which are operating to eliminated Baluch nationalists.

Mass trial of Kurdish activists starts in Turkey

The trial has begun in Turkey of 151 people, including 12 mayors, accused of links to the armed rebel group, the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK). They are accused of crimes including membership of an illegal armed group, spreading its propaganda, undermining Turkey's territorial integrity and holding illegal public demonstrations.

In a calculated wise move Baluch nationalists boycotted Pakistani print and broadcast media

Baluch nationalists through out the East Baluchistan have boycotted Pakistani media. The boycott mainly targeted print and broadcasted news channels.


According to the reports Baluch activists have stopped newsagents from selling Pakistani newspapers which have continuously been ignoring reports of Baluch suffering and army operations in Baluchistan against the nationalists.


The protest which is led by Baluch Students’ Organisation –Azad has also removed many TV news channels from being carried to homes via cable networks.


Any cable operator that didn’t co-operate with protestors has been threatened with dire consequences. Hence such channels are off the air in major towns and cities of Baluchistan since Monday 18 October 10. No Pakistani newspapers is being sold since then either.

BNP-Awami continued boycott of Baluchistan Assembly session

An East Baluchistani political group BNP-Awami continued the boycott of Baluchistan assembly session on Monday to protest against the army operation in Mashkey region of the East Baluchistan.


The party representatives Mir Asad Baluch, Sayad Ehsan Shah, Asghar Rind and Ms Faozia Marri were absent from the assembly and vowed to stay absent until the army withdrawn from the region.


The Pakistan army operation said to be targeted at a Baluch armed commander namely Dr Allanezar Baluch. However, the army announced completion of the operation and said their forces have returned to barracks in Khozdar.


Be reminded that one of those boycotting the session is Asghar Rind whom BLF had targeted earlier this year with a parcel bomb accusing him of being part of the establishment. The bomb exploded injuring two of his close relatives.


The boycotting group is part of the ruling coalition and hold ministerial posts in the provincial government.
